My friend Anthony Wills was in town to show some of his paintings at the Big Art Show in Baltimore. On a flight from Chicago to New York, the airline lost a piece of his luggage containing much of his work..

 

The night before the show, we decided to grab paints, adhesives and four large boxes of miscellaneous objects I keep in my room at all times. Along with a small television and imagine, we headed to the gallery.

 

For four hours, we simply put pieces together. At 8:00, when the guests started arriving for the evening, we encouraged them to play with us in the space as well as create their own assemblages to with take with them, or add to the installation.

 

At 2:00 AM we packed everything up and left.
